Change how your dashboard looks
On your dashboard, the Dashboard Appearance card changes the colours behind the page: press one
of the background swatches to pick a background, and drag the Brightness slider to turn it down
or up. Your choice is saved in this browser only
This changes only your dashboard on vauz.sealzi.com. It doesn't change the Vauz app
Pick a background
Step 1: Go to the Dashboard Appearance card
Scroll down your dashboard, or press Appearance in the menu
Step 2: Press a swatch
The small coloured tiles next to Background are the backgrounds. Point at one with your mouse to
see its name. Press one and the page changes to it
The one showing has a white ring round it, and its name is written under the word Background

A background with a padlock
A background your plan doesn't include is dimmed, with a small padlock 🔒 in its corner. Pressing it doesn't change anything: instead a small dark label says which plan it comes with — "Vauz blue comes with the Plus and Premium plans" or "Premium golden comes with the Premium plan". On a phone, tap it to see the label, and tap anywhere else to put it away

Your plan's own look
Until you pick a background yourself, your dashboard wears your plan's: Vauz blue on Plus,
Premium golden on Premium and Dark magic on Free. So getting a plan changes the look, and so
does a plan that ends
Once you press a swatch, your pick stays whatever your plan does — unless it's a background your plan no longer includes. Then the dashboard goes back to your plan's look
Brightness
Under Brightness — "Turn the background down for easier reading" — drag the slider to the left
to dim the background, and to the right to brighten it. The cards and their words stay as they are.
With Black there is no coloured background to dim, so the slider is greyed out and the line under
Brightness says "Black is already as dark as it gets". Pick another background and it works again
Saved in this browser
The card's heading says Saved in this browser, and that is exactly where your background and
brightness are kept: in the browser you chose them in, not in your account. So:
- On another device, in another browser, or in a private window (the kind that forgets everything once you close it), the dashboard shows your plan's look at the usual brightness until you choose again there
- Clearing what your browser has saved from websites (your browser may call this clearing cookies or site data) puts them back to the start too
