Receipts and Tax

Receipts and tax

Your payments are listed on your dashboard, each paid one with a printable receipt, and we email you each time a payment goes through. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and tax is added for the province of your billing address

Your payments

On your dashboard, press Manage Plan, then Payments. Newest first, each payment shows:

  • its total and plan, such as C$4.94 · Plus monthly
  • its date, and the amount before tax with the tax, such as 16 October 2026 · C$4.70 plus C$0.24 tax
  • whether it was Paid, Declined or Failed. Declined and Failed both mean the payment didn't go through, and only a paid one has a Receipt button

No payments yet means none has been made. The list shows your 24 most recent payments. For an older one, use the button in the email we sent when it was paid

When nothing of yours is billing any more — your own plan has ended, or you are on a family's plan — there is no Manage Plan. Instead a second line under your plan says so and ends with Past payments, such as Your Plus plan ended on 16 October 2026. Nothing is charged now · Past payments. Press Past payments for the same list

Open a receipt

Step 1: Press Receipt beside a paid payment

It opens in a new tab, a second page in your browser, so your dashboard stays open. It shows our business name and GST/HST registration number (GST/HST is Canada's sales tax), the receipt number (it starts VZ-), the date it was paid, what it was for (such as Vauz Plus, one month), the amount, the GST/HST, and the Total paid in Canadian dollars. The Payment reference is the number Helcim, the company that processes our card payments, gave the same payment. Quote it if you write to us about that payment

Step 2: Press Print or save as PDF

Your browser's print window opens. Choose a printer, or choose to save it as a PDF file: a copy of the receipt you can keep on your computer or phone and open again later. The buttons are left off the printout

Receipts by email

We email you each time a payment goes through. Each email has the receipt number and a button or link to the receipt:

  • A plan you buy, or an upgrade paid that day: the receipt is in the email confirming it, Your vauz.sealzi.com plan is active or Your vauz.sealzi.com plan was upgraded
  • A renewal, or the first payment of a plan you switched to: Payment received for your vauz.sealzi.com plan
  • A payment that went through after failing: Your vauz.sealzi.com payment went through, or Your vauz.sealzi.com plan is back if the plan had been paused

The receipt opens only for the account that paid, so the button asks you to be signed in. If you aren't, it takes you to the sign-in page, and after signing in you land on your dashboard: open the receipt from Payments there, or press the email's button again

Tax

Prices on https://vauz.sealzi.com/pricing (opens in a new tab) are in Canadian dollars, before tax. Vauz is sold in Canada, so your billing address has to be Canadian. You give it the first time you add a card, and the tax is worked out from its province. The sentence you agree to when you buy says plus applicable tax, and your receipt shows the tax on its own line, labelled GST/HST. For which tax applies where, see Why is tax added, and can I buy from outside Canada?

Things worth knowing

  • A receipt shows only your own payments. In a family, the receipts for the family's plan go to whoever pays for it
  • An upgrade paid for with your unused time has no receipt that day, because nothing was charged. The new plan's first payment has one
  • Deleting your account? We keep the payment records afterwards, because tax law and payment disputes require it, but you can no longer sign in to see them. Save the receipts you need first. See Delete your account
