Is pay.vauz.sealzi.com Really Vauz?

Is pay.vauz.sealzi.com really Vauz?

Yes. pay.vauz.sealzi.com is our card page, the one place where you add or replace the card that pays for your plan. We keep it apart from the rest of the website on purpose, so that the card form of Helcim, our payment processor, never runs on a page where you are signed in

You can only get there from your own dashboard (your account page at vauz.sealzi.com/dashboard). A card page reached any other way, from an email or a message for example, is not one to trust

You only get there from your dashboard

The card page opens when you press a button on your dashboard's Plan card, usually one of these:

  • Add a card or Replace card, after Manage Plan, then Payment method
  • Update card, when a payment did not go through
  • Continue to payment, in the Confirm your plan box when no card is saved yet

It works only in the browser tab where you pressed the button, signed in to your account. (Your browser is the app you use to visit websites. It can have several pages open at once, each in its own tab.) Opened any other way, it stops and shows one of these messages, with a link back to your dashboard:

MessageWhat it meansWhat to do
"Open this page from the Plan card in your dashboard"pay.vauz.sealzi.com was opened by typing it, from a bookmark (a link you saved in your browser) or from a linkPress Back to your dashboard, then the button on your Plan card
"This link expired, or it was opened in a different browser. Start again from your dashboard, in this browser"The card page link was old, or it was made in another browserGo back to your dashboard in the browser you use, and press the button again
"To add a card, start from your plan on the dashboard 💳"The step between your dashboard and the card page was reached without a press on your dashboardPress Back to your plan, then the button on your Plan card
"You've signed out since. Sign in again and start from your dashboard"You signed out after pressing the buttonSign in, then press the button again

If you are not signed in when you press it, you go to the sign-in page instead. Sign in, and press the button again. For the other messages on the card page, see Add or replace your card

What you see on the way

  • For a moment, the address bar changes. The address bar is the line at the very top of your browser window that shows which website you are on. It can flick between pay.vauz.sealzi.com and vauz.sealzi.com/dashboard/card/, and the tab can say Opening the card form | Vauz. That short stop on vauz.sealzi.com ties the card page to your account and to this browser. If it takes a while, it says "Opening secure checkout…"
  • Then the card page. Its tab says Secure checkout — Vauz. At the top are the Vauz logo, Vauz and Secure checkout. The heading says Checkout if you are paying for a plan, with the plan and its price in a box, or Add a card if you are only saving a card
  • At the bottom of the page: "Card details are typed into Helcim's secure form and go straight to Helcim, our payment processor. Vauz never stores them", with links to our Terms and Privacy
  • The first time only, your billing address. See Why is tax added, and can I buy from outside Canada?
  • Then Helcim's form opens on top of the page, after "Enter your card in Helcim's secure form". That is where your card number goes. See What is Helcim, and why does it have my card?

The card picture is only a picture

The page shows a drawing of a card: the Vauz logo, dots where a number would be, Expires with MM/YY, and, when the page asks for your billing address, Card holder with Your name. It is decoration. Vauz has not issued you a card, and the dots are not your card number

Your number goes into Helcim's form and never appears on the picture. If the page asks for your address, the name you type there shows on the picture as you type it. Once your card is saved, the picture turns over to show Saved, the kind of card (such as Visa), its last four digits and when it expires

Check the address bar

That line at the very top of your browser window shows which website you are on. On a phone, tap it to see the whole address

  • The website name in it should be pay.vauz.sealzi.com, exactly, followed by a / or by nothing at all. Some browsers show https:// in front of it, which is fine
  • Something added after .com, such as pay.vauz.sealzi.com.example.com, is a different website and not ours
  • Helcim's form opens inside our page, so the address stays pay.vauz.sealzi.com while you type your card

The "Test mode" label

The card page has a small yellow label, Test mode, that shows at the top beside Secure checkout only when the page is set up for our own testing. A card saved then is not a real one. If you ever see that label, do not enter your card: close the page and write to support@vauz.sealzi.com

⚠️

Never enter your card on a page you reached from a link in an email, a text message or a chat. Our emails never take you straight to a card form: their buttons, such as Update your card, open your dashboard, where you press the button yourself. If you are unsure, type vauz.sealzi.com/dashboard into the address bar yourself and start from there. If a payment doesn't go through, Helcim, our payment processor, may also email you about it. You don't need any link in Helcim's emails: to update your card, start from your dashboard. See Is this email really from Vauz?
